Ask to Buy (Apple)

Would you like your kids to have to ask for permission to buy Apps in the App Store?

Here is a quick guide for how to setup Ask to Buy:

• On your own iPhone go to Settings
• Click on your Name (Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases) at the top
• Select Family Sharing
• Scroll down until you find Ask to Buy
• Select each child in your family and toggle the Ask to Buy Switch to ON

Now when the child tries to make a purchase in the App Store you will be notified (on your own device) and have to enter your Apple ID password to give permission.
