Sometimes the iPhone doesn’t recognize words that you type regularly and it is really useful to add them to the dictionary, family names and nicknames for example.
You can also setup phrase shortcuts in the same way so that you can be more efficient. For example you can set it so that every time you type phn it can enter your phone number!
Here are some seriously helpful phrases to add to your iPhone:
- phn > “your phone number”
- eml > “your email address”
- addr > “your address”
- sig > “your name / signature”
- brb > be right back
- syl > see you later
- thx > Thank you!
- hay > how are you?
- idk > I don’t know
- Any of your family members nicknames!
